150th Process Control implemented18 January 2010
TMS has implemented the 150e Process Control (CP)with great succes at Holcim in Alphen aan de Rijn.
Holcim was looking for an automation partner for the're precast concrete in the Netherlands. Holcim has chosen for TMS at several aspects.Main issues for Holcim to choose for TMS were: Good Implementation analysis, Service and Support, Distance to factory's.
The project: Holcim had problems with the quality and production speed of the site at Alphen aan de Rijn. Most of the times Good quality and High production speed are like water and fire. But TMS succeeded to improve the quality and gain the speed for production. This is achieved by internally developed waterdosing and control management (CP Hydro). CP Hydro measures at the input and corrects during production.
After the implementation in december 2009, even the first batch of concrete was of perfect quality. Till now there has been no loss of bad concrete.
Holcim has signed an intention to automate all Holcim precast factory's in the Netherlands with TMS. TMS is now the preferred supplier of Holcim.
